- Passport number, issue date, expiry date, and country of issue
- Date of birth
- National ID number (where required for visa processing)
- Photograph (passport-size, for visa applications)
- Mobile phone number and WhatsApp number

- Home address in Bangladesh
- Medical information relevant to your journey (where voluntarily provided, for example mobility requirements or medical conditions relevant to Umrah preparation)
- Payment information (we do not store card details — see Section 7)
- Nikah certificate or marriage certificate (for couples booking together)

Why we collect passport and visa information
Umrah and Hajj visa applications to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia require full passport details, biometric data (through the Saudi Visa Bio app), and vaccination certificates. We collect this information solely to process your Saudi Umrah visa and cannot do so without it. This data is submitted to the Saudi Embassy in Dhaka through the Maqam and Nusuk platforms under our licensed operator registration.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was provided. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

4.1 Saudi government authorities
Your passport data, photograph, and biometric enrollment data are submitted to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah through the Maqam and Nusuk platforms. This is a mandatory requirement to obtain your Saudi Umrah visa and cannot be avoided.
4.2 Airlines
Your full name (as on your passport), passport number, date of birth, and flight preferences are shared with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Saudia Airlines, or other carriers to confirm your flight booking. Airlines have their own privacy policies governing how they handle this data.
4.3 Hotels in Makkah and Madinah
Your name and booking dates are shared with your hotel in Makkah (such as Emaar Al Andalus, Emaar Al Sultan, Al Shohada Hotel, or Makkah Hotel depending on your tier) and your hotel in Madinah to secure your reservation. Hotels are bound by their own privacy and data handling policies under Saudi law.
4.4 Our Mecca office team
Our team at Hujra Street, Mecca, Saudi Arabia 24231 receives your contact details and booking reference so they can receive you at the airport and provide support during your trip. This team is part of UmrahLovers and operates under this same Privacy Policy.
4.5 Legal requirements
We may disclose your personal information where required to do so by law, by a court order, or by a regulatory authority in Bangladesh or Saudi Arabia. We will inform you of any such request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
4.6 What we do NOT share
- We do not sell your personal information to any third party
- We do not share your information with other travel agencies, tour operators, or marketers
- We do not share your health information with any party other than those directly necessary to accommodate your medical requirements during the Umrah journey
- We do not transfer your data outside of Bangladesh or Saudi Arabia except as necessary for your visa and travel arrangements
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to deliver the service you have booked and to comply with our legal obligations.

7. Payment Security
UmrahLovers does not store your full payment card details. When you make a payment by bank transfer, bKash, or card, the transaction is processed through the relevant financial institution or payment gateway, which operates under its own security standards.
Payment confirmation references and transaction IDs may be retained in your booking record for accounting and dispute resolution purposes. Full card numbers, CVV codes, and bank account credentials are never stored on our systems.

Umrah can be performed by pilgrims of any age, including children and infants. When a minor is included in a booking, we collect the personal information of the minor (including passport details and visa data) for the same purposes described in this policy.
Personal information for minors is always provided by and handled in coordination with the parent or legal guardian named in the booking. UmrahLovers does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
