    COMPLETE GUIDE

7 Day Umrah Package from Bangladesh — Complete Guide

7 Day Umrah Package from Bangladesh — Complete Guide

The 7-day umrah package from Bangladesh is the most popular duration among Bangladeshi pilgrims with limited annual leave. At UmrahLovers, the 7-Day Holy Umrah Package gives you 4 nights in Makkah and 2 nights in Madinah — enough time to complete all Umrah rituals, perform multiple prayers in Masjid al-Haram, visit key Ziyarah sites in both cities, and return home without the physical exhaustion of an unnecessarily short 5-day trip.

Who Should Choose a 7-Day Umrah Package?

The 7-day umrah package is best suited for:

    • Pilgrims who have performed Umrah before and are familiar with the rituals
    • Professionals with limited annual leave who cannot take 10 or 14 days
    • Young or middle-aged pilgrims in good health who can manage the pace
    • Couples travelling without young children or elderly family members
    • Pilgrims who want a focused, spiritually intense week rather than an extended stay

If you are travelling with elderly parents, if this is your first Umrah, or if you want significant time for nafl worship and extended Ziyarah, the 10-day Umrah package or 14-day Umrah package is recommended.

What Is the Significance of Performing Umrah?

Umrah is a voluntary act of worship — sometimes called the “lesser pilgrimage.” Unlike Hajj, it can be performed at any time of the year. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous Umrah.” (Sahih Bukhari). Performing Umrah is an act that purifies the soul, renews one’s commitment to Allah, and carries enormous spiritual reward. UmrahLovers treats every package as an act of religious service, not a commercial travel product — this is why every element of our itinerary is designed around maximising your time in ibadah.

How to Prepare for a 7-Day Umrah from Bangladesh

    Before your departure, UmrahLovers recommends:

    • Learn the correct method of Tawaf, Sa’i, and the supplications (du’as) for each ritual — our complete Umrah guide covers all steps in detail
    • Complete your Umrah training session — UmrahLovers offers pre-departure manasik training from our Dhaka office
    • Ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity remaining beyond your return date
    • Prepare comfortable footwear for significant walking — distances in Masjid al-Haram and during Sa’i are substantial
    • Pack Ihram garments (two white seamless cloths for men; modest full-coverage clothing for women)
    • Book your visa well in advance during Ramadan — processing takes longer during peak periods

Umrah Visa from Bangladesh — 7-Day Package

The Saudi Umrah visa is processed separately from your passport and returned to you before departure. UmrahLovers processes standard Umrah visas in 1 to 3 working days. You will need a valid passport, a recent passport-size photograph, and confirmation of your package booking. Full details of the visa process are on our umrah visa from Bangladesh page.

Departing for Umrah from Sylhet or Chittagong

UmrahLovers arranges the 7-day umrah package from all three major departure airports in Bangladesh. Pilgrims from Sylhet depart from Osmani International Airport; pilgrims from Chittagong depart from Shah Amanat International Airport. Both are served by connecting flights to Jeddah or Madinah via Gulf carriers. For pilgrims in Sylhet and Chittagong, our local contacts assist with pre-departure arrangements. Visit our umrah package from Sylhet or umrah package from Chittagong pages for city-specific information.

    COMPARE DURATIONS

Is 7 Days Enough for Umrah from Bangladesh?

Direct answer: yes — if you plan it right. Here is how the three durations compare so you can make the right choice for your situation.

A note from our founder, Md. Nasir Uddin Rejon: Having personally performed Umrah and guided over 1,000 Bangladeshi pilgrims, I advise the 7-day package for pilgrims who have performed Umrah before and are comfortable with the rituals. For first-time pilgrims — especially those travelling with elderly parents or young children — the extra days in the 10-day or 14-day package make a significant difference to your peace of mind and spiritual focus. The additional cost of BDT 5,000 to 10,000 for a longer stay is minor compared to the experience. The choice is yours — we support you either way.

What Pilgrims Say About the 7-Day Package

5.0 Google rating · Top Rated 2026 · Verified by Trustindex

“Alhamdulillah. The 10-day package was perfectly arranged for my situation — I had only one week of annual leave. The hotel in Makkah was 200 metres from Masjid al-Haram and I was able to pray every single prayer in the first row. The visa came in two days. I will book again for the 14-day package next year Insha Allah.”

“I travelled with my mother (68 years old) on the 10-day package. I was worried it would be too rushed for her, but the private transfer, the hotel at 150 metres from the Haram, and the UmrahLovers guide made everything easy. When we arrived in Madinah, the team called to check we were settled. That personal care is what sets them apart.”

“This was my third Umrah and my first time using UmrahLovers. The process was smoother than any previous agency. Visa delivered the next working day. The guide on Day 2 was patient and knowledgeable about the correct method for Tawaf and Sa’i. I specifically recommend UmrahLovers to people performing Umrah for the first time.”

Answer: Standard tier: Emaar Al Andalus Makkah (350 to 500m from Haram) and Karam Golden Hotel Madinah (250 to 300m from Nabawi). Premium tier: Makkah Hotel (0 to 20m) and Millennium Al Aqeeq Madinah (0 to 20m). Actual hotel may be a similar property of equal or higher standard.

Does the 7-day Umrah package use private or shared transport?

Answer: All transfers in the 7-day package are by private car, not shared bus. This includes the Jeddah airport pickup, the Makkah to Madinah intercity transfer, the Madinah airport drop-off, and all Ziyarah tours in both cities. Private car means your group travels alone on your own schedule.

Is the flight included in the 7-day Umrah package?

Answer: Yes. A return air ticket with all travel taxes is included. The standard package uses a transit flight. For Saudia or Biman Bangladesh Airlines direct flights, an additional BDT 12,000 to 15,000 per person applies. Business class is also available.

How many Jummah prayers does the 7-day package include?

Answer: The 7-day package includes one Jummah prayer, in either Makkah or Madinah depending on your travel dates and the day of the week you arrive. Unlike the 10-day package which is structured for one Jummah in each city, the 7-day package duration allows for one Jummah in total.

What is the difference between the 7-day and 10-day Umrah package?

Answer: The 7-day package gives you 4 nights in Makkah and 2 nights in Madinah with 1 Jummah prayer. The 10-day package gives you 6 nights in Makkah and 3 nights in Madinah with 2 Jummah prayers (one in each city). The 10-day package includes one extra free Makkah worship day, a dedicated Raudah visit day, and more time for personal ibadah at the Kaaba. The 7-day package is better for experienced pilgrims with limited leave. The 10-day is better for first-time pilgrims and families.

How far in advance should I book the 7-day Umrah package?

Answer: We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks before your intended travel date for standard season travel. For Ramadan travel, book 3 to 4 months in advance. Prices are subject to change without notice until confirmed with a deposit.
