What Is UmrahLovers' Pre-Departure Umrah Training?

UmrahLovers arranges a free pre-departure Umrah training session for every booked pilgrim, conducted entirely in Bengali by an external qualified Islamic scholar. The session covers the four mandatory Umrah rituals step by step, duas for each stage, the Nusuk app, and practical guidance specific to traveling from Bangladesh in 2026.

Most Bangladeshi Umrah pilgrims arrive in Makkah having read a few pages about Umrah or watched a short video. The Haram during peak seasons is overwhelming — the noise, the crowds, the scale of the Mataf, and the speed at which everything moves. Pilgrims who have trained properly arrive with confidence. They know what they will do before they arrive at each stage, which means their attention is on worship rather than logistics.

This is why UmrahLovers arranges an actual training session — not a pamphlet, not a PDF, not a YouTube link. A qualified Islamic scholar sits with our pilgrims and covers everything in Bengali. Questions are asked and answered. Common mistakes are discussed. Pilgrims leave the session ready for what they are about to experience.

Md. Nasir Uddin Rejon, Founder and CEO of UmrahLovers

In 15 years of arranging Umrah from Bangladesh, I have seen the difference between a trained pilgrim and an untrained one. A trained pilgrim performs Umrah with focus and spiritual depth. An untrained pilgrim is often confused, anxious, or performing rituals incorrectly without realising it. The training session we offer is the most important 2 to 3 hours before departure. It costs nothing. It changes everything.

Who Conducts the UmrahLovers Umrah Training Session?

The Umrah training session is conducted by an external qualified Islamic scholar — an experienced imam with specific knowledge of Umrah fiqh and the practical conditions of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi. UmrahLovers does not conduct the religious training itself. We arrange and host the session so that our pilgrims receive expert-level Islamic guidance, not travel-agent-level guidance.

The scholar conducting the session has direct experience of Umrah and is qualified in the Islamic sciences relevant to pilgrimage — the rulings of Ihram, the conditions of valid Tawaf, the fiqh of Sa’i, the rules of Halq and Taqsir, and the specific situations that commonly arise for Bangladeshi pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. The session is conducted in Bengali so that every pilgrim, regardless of their level of Arabic or Islamic education, can fully understand and retain what they are taught.

What Topics Are Covered in the Umrah Training Session?

The session covers: the four mandatory Umrah rituals in order (Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, Halq/Taqsir); the correct niyyah and Talbiyah; mandatory duas for each stage; Ihram prohibitions for men and women separately; Miqat rules for Bangladeshi flights; the Nusuk app registration and permit booking; Saudi Visa Bio biometric app; practical guidance for the Haram; and a Q&A session where pilgrims ask specific questions.

Who Should Attend the Umrah Training Session?

Every UmrahLovers pilgrim is encouraged to attend, regardless of their prior knowledge of Umrah. The session is particularly important for first-time pilgrims from Bangladesh, elderly pilgrims, women traveling without a mahram for the first time, families with children, and mosque groups whose members have varying levels of Umrah knowledge.

First-time pilgrims — প্রথমবার উমরাহকারী

The training is most valuable for those performing Umrah for the first time. Arriving at Masjid al-Haram without having practised the sequence of rituals in your mind is the most common cause of uncertainty and anxiety among Bangladeshi pilgrims. The training resolves this before departure.

Pilgrims whose last Umrah was many years ago — অনেকদিন পর আবার উমরাহ

Saudi Arabia has changed significantly since 2022. The Nusuk app, biometric requirement, Mataf access controls, and Rawdah booking system are all new. Even experienced pilgrims benefit from the 2026-specific content in this session.

Elderly pilgrims — বয়স্ক হাজী

Elderly pilgrims face specific challenges: biometric fingerprint scanning (our trainer covers this), wheelchair access at the Haram, Tawaf on the upper floor, and the physical preparation required. The session addresses all of these directly.

Women traveling without a mahram — মহরাম ছাড়া মহিলা হাজী

Women performing their first Umrah without a mahram benefit from the session's coverage of Ihram rules, Rawdah visiting hours, and the practical safety guidance specific to the Haram environment.

Families with children and infants — শিশু নিয়ে উমরাহকারী পরিবার

The session covers child Ihram, stroller rules, wristband machines at Haram gates, and the children's nursery inside Masjid al-Haram — content that family pilgrims often do not know exists.

Mosque and community group leaders — মসজিদ দলের ইমাম বা সেক্রেটারি

Group leaders carry responsibility for every member of their group. The training gives group leaders the specific knowledge to guide their congregation through each ritual correctly. The scholar can address fiqh questions relevant to group Umrah.

Umrah Training Bangladesh — Frequently Asked Questions

Is the UmrahLovers Umrah training session really free?

Umrah packages from Bangladesh in 2026 start from BDT 35,000 (USD 285) for a visa and flight arrangement only. A complete 7-day package — visa, return flights from Dhaka, hotel in Makkah and Madinah, transfers, Ziyarah, and guide — starts from BDT 1,50,000 (USD 1,220) per person in quad sharing at a Standard 3-star hotel 350 to 500 metres from Masjid al-Haram. Prices range up to BDT 6,00,000 or more (USD 4,878+) for VIP 5-star packages at Swissotel Makkah, Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower, or Raffles Makkah Palace.

The cheapest Umrah package from Bangladesh is a visa and flight arrangement at BDT 35,000 (USD 285) per person through UmrahLovers. This covers the Saudi Umrah visa processed in 1 to 3 working days and return flights from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka. For a complete budget package including hotel and transfers, the starting price is BDT 1,50,000 (USD 1,220) per person for a 7-day Standard 3-star package at 350 to 500 metres from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah.

The session covers the four mandatory Umrah rituals step by step in Bengali: Ihram (including Miqat rules for Bangladeshi flights), Tawaf (including wudhu requirements, Idtiba, Raml, and duas), Sa’i (including hayd rules for women), and Halq or Taqsir. It also covers the Saudi Visa Bio biometric app, the Nusuk app for permits and Rawdah booking, practical guidance for Masjid al-Haram, and a live Q&A session with the scholar.

Yes. Pilgrims from Sylhet, other districts, and overseas Bangladeshis who have booked through UmrahLovers receive the training by video call — WhatsApp or Zoom. The session content is identical to the in-person session. UmrahLovers sends the video call link after the package booking is confirmed and the session is scheduled.

The training session is conducted for mixed groups and covers the rules for men and women separately throughout. Ihram rules for men (two white unstitched cloths, Idtiba, Raml) and women (normal modest clothing, no Raml, hayd rules for Tawaf) are explained distinctly. Women’s specific topics — mahram rules updated for 2026, Rawdah women’s visiting hours, Nusuk booking for women — are covered in detail.

Yes, particularly if your last Umrah was before 2022. Saudi Arabia has introduced significant changes since then: the Nusuk app is now mandatory for Masjid al-Haram entry (a valid visa alone is no longer sufficient), the biometric Saudi Visa Bio app is required for Bangladeshi pilgrims, and the Rawdah booking system has changed. Experienced pilgrims benefit from the 2026-specific content even if they are confident about the ritual steps themselves.

Yes. UmrahLovers arranges dedicated training sessions for mosque groups and community organisations performing Umrah together. The group leader (typically the imam or mosque secretary) contacts us after confirming the group booking. We schedule a session at our Dhaka or Chittagong office for the full group. The session can be adapted to include extended Q&A for first-time pilgrims within the group.
